Rotate from point to specific point

Hello

Trying to rotate a roof panel, given we know the ridge height and the inside wall height.  So the top of the panel is at the ridge and the bottom of the panel is at the top, inside of the wall.  Drawing is attached.

Thanks

@dholmes8 Like this highlighted section (I can't tell from your file with "other" point you are aiming for)

Draw a circle with the center at you center of rotation.

Make the radius to the inside line of your wall.

Use the Rotate command with the "Relative" option.

Do this slowly - -

When it asks for "angle" there is a prompt on the command line, set "relative" and select the point on the bottom of the roof, then the point on the interior of the wall.

I think this will get what you need.

Sometimes I find it easier to use ALIGN rather than rotate with a reference.

After creating the circle as noted in the prvious post then give the align command with osnap end at 1 and 2, osnap intersection at 3 and endpoint at 4.  Done!
