Revit Polyface Mesh to AutoCAD 3D Solid

I am trying to convert a Revit-generated polyface mesh into a 3D solid in autocad. Maybe the geometry is too complicated, but converttosolid command is not working for me. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi @Anonymous,

I think  this can be done.  I found this blog that describes an app in the Autodesk App Store that might make this easier.  Is it possible to attach a sample that I can examine?

Sorry for the confusion, I've changed accounts. Attached is the file I'm working with.

Hi @anarie,

This definitely not watertight which is likely causing the issue.

I suggest you try that add-in as it has great reviews. I am unsure of the cost but if this is a frequent procedure for your workflow it might be worth investigating.

Hi @anarie,

Did you take a look at the app I suggested? I am not sure it will help since this is not watertight. You might consider taking this into Fusion 360 to see if you can patch things easier than in AutoCAD. I took some time to patch about a dozen holes in the model but it is still not watertight.

Hi @john.vellek
I did try it out, but the trial is fairly limited. I may just write it off as too much time spent on a minute detail. Thanks!
