It's not at a 1x5 proportion unless you actually change it: it measures 74.7350x 359.6227

Yes, that's what I'm trying to do.  I'm not skilled enough to change it to 5" Inches Tall x 1" Inch Wide

Hi @jasoncbrewer51,

I am not sure if you need that exact ratio or if you want to maintain the proportions.  I made a video that shows how to use -dwgunits to set the scale to inches as your drawing was originally in mm.  Then I show how to scale by reference to set the height to 5".

Please let me know if this is what you want. I have also attached my file for your information.

If you want the outermost extents to be that size, it's easy enough, starting with SCALE and the Reference-size option, but since the proportions are not exactly that, questions arise --

If I make it 5 units long, it's 1.0365[ish] units wide.  To make it 1 unit wide could be done by STRETCHing, but should the sides be Stretched in and the middle slot and hole stay as they are?  Or should the slot be proportionally narrowed?  Or should the widths of the side parts remain as they are, with the slot narrowed by the same amount as the overall width is?  Should the circle [that isn't a Circle entity] remain circular, or be narrowed into an Ellipse?  If it remains circular, should it be reduced in size by the same amount as the overall, or proportionally, or left at its current size?  Etc., etc., etc.

So which side do you want to shrink or upsize to get 1x5 proportion? and which size is sacred? YOu are going to change the design of the object.

If the height changes to 5" and the width scales to whatever that comes out to, then that would be perfectly acceptable.  I just need for everything (Even the inside details to scale everything down to the 5" height needs...

I hope this makes sense as I'm extremely new to this...All great feedback

Place image in a blank drawing. We will call it "source".
Adjust the location of the image to scale from to 0,0.
Save the source.
Close the source.
Open the destination and with your favorite file manager
drag and drop source into the destination file.
Use the properties window in destination to make
adjustments to the width and height.

....

Open the drawing/DXF in AutoCAD.  Start a SCALE command.  Select all the parts [and tell it you're done selecting with another Enter].  When it asks for a base point, pick anywhere that makes sense to you.  Then choose the Reference option.  When it asks for a reference length [or distance, or however it asks], pick two points, one at the midpoint of the bottom edge and the other PERpendicular to the top edge [which may not be exactly at its midpoint], or from top to bottom if you prefer -- you're just establishing what size in the existing objects you want changed to be 5 instead.  When it asks for a new length, type in 5.
