Rendering in AutoCAD

Hi everyone!

I am doing some rendering in AutoCAD. I created 3D solid objects, i need those objects to render in plain white. I've tried applying a white material, i tried changing their properties to white, i've tried putting them on white layer etc. Nothing seems to work. When i rendering it the objects come out a greyish colour, what can i do????

Any help woul be greatly appreciated!

bye!

Alex.

Do you have lights shining on the object?

Hi, yes I do. Not on them directly, but I did put 2 light in that scene. I also removed the shadow options.

Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Rogers network.

Hi,

>> When i rendering it the objects come out a greyish colour, what can i do?

That's how "virtual realism" is doing it's job .. in the nature there does not exist anything with clean white 😉

As a sample: if you would have a box in your drawing, you look to that box so you can see three sides (front/left/top) and that object would be clean white ... you would not be able to see differences between the sides as you don't see the edge.

On the other hand: you would not be able to print the object (without any background) ... but to come close to clean white the option you have is to work with overexposure.

Thank you! I've seen rendering produced in AutoCAD with plain white applied to 3D objects. I have everything set up with materials I applied to all my other 3D objects, I just to add white to a frames I built.

Is there any other way white can be applied?

Hi,

can you show an rendered image + the drawing?

Just to make it clear for us what is "not white" for you (as all is relative when speaking about lightning and colors) 😉
