Remove Block Reference

So, I had two blocks: block A and block B.

I copy and pasted block A into block B, then exploded the pasted Block A.  By doing this I hoped that it would get rid of the reference of Block A, and I would be able to purge Block A out of the file, but it still says Block A is nested inside of Block B.  How do I remove the reference from Block B so I can purge Block A? Sorry this is so confusing.

That should be the case, yes.

Then it is.

Go into BlockB (BEDIT BlockB), select the references and Erase them.

Bsave Bclose Purge

Is there a way to locate the reference?

All layers thawed and on

Use QSELECT and filter for the Blockreference NAME.

Doesn't work?

Share this file or another one:

Create a DWG with only one BlockB Reference inside and

share.
