relative path length in Hyperlink

I have a problem with the path length of relative paths in the hyperlink of a block.

3DCS-GmbH_Montag, 18. November 2019_13h01m39s_002_.jpg

If I enter here a path with 92 characters the jpg file is found and opened.

Path: .. \ .. \ .. \ .. \ .. \ AU-General Documents \ AL-General \ SYMB-Symbols \ 03-Images \ T12345678912.JPG

From 93 characters I get the error message:

"System could not find path"

Path: .. \ .. \ .. \ .. \ .. \ AU-General Documents \ AL-General \ SYMB-Symbols \ 03-Images \ T123456789123.JPG

The length of the file name does not matter. For example, if I change the character length of a folder and the total character length is below 93 characters, it also works again.

If I use absolute paths, I can use longer paths.

In this case, the associated absolute path is 170 characters long.

With a relative path length of more than 255 characters, I would understand that, but 92 characters !?

Does somebody has any idea?

I've tested this with other paths. It doesn't seem to be the path length.

But I'm still a bit helpless why this path doesn't work at a certain length.

Are there any restrictions regarding special characters, spaces etc.?

I have already tried a few things.

I've done some more testing and I can't understand why some paths work and others don't.

@cadffm

I have already done these tests on 2 different computers.

I will create an example. I was hoping there would be a simple hint that I missed something.

Otherwise, I've already escalated the case to Autodesk. @Volker.BRUNKE gave me the hint that he had already observed this phenomenon and he couldn't explain it.
