Dear all

Good day and greetings to you all....

Today i came to face with a new issue that when i try to change the custom size of pdf output to 10m an error pop up message dialogue box was displayed up saying it was greater than the maximum allowable size....

Is it really possible to make custom paper size of above 10 meters in AutoCAD..

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hi,

PDF has a limit based on it's internal units, and AutoCAD can't change/overrule that limitation.

What you might do is to create a papersize of half the height and half the width, create a PDF, and when you plot it, tell the reader (or the plotter) to scale it by factor 2.

Hi,

>> Could be more precise

If you need a pdf to create a plot with 10m then

  • create a page size for your "DWG to PDF" with 5m length (screenshot 1)
  • in the plot dialog make the new page size current and (as your layout is 10m long) change the output scale to 1mm=2units (screenshot 2)
  • plot to pdf
  • open the pdf in your pdf reader and for plotting set the plotscale to 200%
