Rectangle command not working as it used to

Hi everyone.

Its been 2 days that Ive been driving myself insane.

I used to draw a rectangle the following way:

- Rectangle command ENTER

- Specify point ENTER

- enter dimensions, ex: 20",30" ENTER

Now for some reason, the settings changed and I have to use another way to draw a rectangle, but its too complicated for me:

- Rectangle

- Specify point

- D

- 20"

- 30"

- Specify placement

Please help! I want my "easy way" back!

Hi,

You can use absolute or relative Cartesian (rectangular) coordinates to locate points when creating objects . >> Click <<

Are you sure it wasn't this way?

- Rectangle command ENTER

- Specify point {by pick, no ENTER unless the point was typed-in coordinates]

- enter dimensions, ex: @20",30" ENTER

[By the way, if you're in Imperial units, the " inch marks are not necessary -- you can just type @Anonymous,30 instead.]
