Recreating the exploded hatch as hatch again

Hi,

Is there any lisp to recreate the exploded hatch if we don't have the out side polyline?

Hi,

you may try to isolate ( Layiso) your hatch if it's have a unique layer name . then you can start a new hatch procedure .

it's the easiest way that it could help .

Thanks for your reply but i don't have the out side limit to redo the hatch.

If you're past the point of being able to Undo the Exploding, I'm afraid you're out of luck -- an Exploded Hatch pattern becomes just Lines, and AutoCAD has no way of knowing that they once had any relationship to each other.

 

[In the case of your sample drawing, it wouldn't be hard to recreate the rectangle, using point filters .X and/or .Y along with ENDpoint Object Snap to find where the corners were.  And there are routines out there to find the collective extents of a selection of objects, which you could also use to define such a rectangle.  But both approaches depend on its being a plain rectangle and orthogonally oriented.]
