Hi,

>> i have a region of random points as block ,need to draw a polyline boundry to the region ,how can i do

to connect those points with a polyline you may need to :

  • if those points marks are a point style you may need to select Node from Object Snap and start draw a polyline .
  • OR you have to copy the coordinates to a script file .scr then by SCRIPT command you can draw automatically.

Q: are you have too many points or just a little and as shown in your image ?

THAT MEANS NO WAY TO DRAW IT AUTOMATICALLY

LARG  NUMBER OF POINTS MANUALLY IS ILLOGIC

Hi,

>> THAT MEANS NO WAY TO DRAW IT AUTOMATICALLY

If you have Civil 3D you might create a surface from these points, the surface has then a boundary you can extract.

But take care ... what is the upper part of the outline you are looking for? Left or right or something between?
