Random Lines in 3D shape for certain visual styles

Hi,

I'm having a problem with any visual styles that include edges.

Could anyone please tell me if there is a way to not show/remove the diagonal connecting lines in Capture 1. I would like it to look more like Capture 2.

Shaded with edgesShaded with edges

Capture 1 - Shaded with edges (Visual Style)

ShadedShaded

Capture 2 - Shaded with edges (Visual Style)

This is appearing in my plots as well.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @Anonymous,

Please follow the steps below;

  • Open the Visual Styles Manager (VISUALSTYLES)
  • Select the style you want to edit, for example select the Realistic Style and double check if Show Isolines is switched on:

If you still see the edges, change the view style and see if there is anything that's suitable for you.

Hope this is helpful. please 'Accept as Solution' if this answers your question.

Hi @sophia_lee,

Thanks for that, I had a play around in 'Visual Styles Manager' and it worked when I turned off 'Silhouette Edges'.

This has removed those arbitrary lines.

Thank you for your assistance.
