"Save Print Output As"

I recently had to reinstall drivers and create new pc3 file. now, anytime I attempt to plot, a dialog box opens asking to "Save Print Output As". I am not sure what to do here and if this is something I will be asked every time?

Change the default to a real printer.

Sorry for the obvious question, but did you restart the computer?

no worries. I have restarted my computer to no avail. It seems that my problem may be within the "ports" in the plotter configuration. Although I unchecked "Plot to File" and checked "Plot to the following ports" there isn't any options for me to check.

- I've unchecked "Plot to File" within the "Plotter Configuration Editor"

- I've unchecked "Plot to File" within the "Plot-Model" dialog box

Am I suppose to create a port and if so, how? I can't find anything on it.

It seems that "Show all ports" option is faded to where I cannot check or uncheck

Try removing the *.pc3 file and then use the Plotter Manager >> "Add-A-Plotter Wizard" to re-add the plotter.

It did not work unfortunately.  the picture below is the message I keep receiving when trying to plot. I reinstalled the driver as well.

Remove all of that, all of it, then restart your PC. Confirm plotting to anything else is no longer an issue. If it is, you'll need to reset AutoCAD.

When all is back together, explain:

1) why did you have to reinstall drivers? what problem were you trying to fix
2) drivers to what device/make/model?

3) drivers make/model/version?

4) your OS is?

5) why create a PC3 file so quickly? And what options where at play when it was created?

6) what did Canon support offer as a tip to fix it https://lfs.csa.canon.com/2020-6-4-20-1120-Google-Adwords-Landing-Pages_PlotWave-Printers.html?gad_s...
