"Publish" vs "Print" behaviour problem

Hello folks,

I have a problem with the pdf output when I use the "Public" function.

My drawings consist in elements that represent road topography and utilities. About the utilities, the pipes are displayed as 3D meshes that are built with another software and then are imported in AutoCAD with a third-party plugin.

Because the drawings are quite big and I need to show detailed tables, I often create many layouts of smaller areas. To export them all together as pdf, I use "Publish" but the results are not good.

As you can see, the details of the mesh disappear in the pdf and the pipes are displayed as thick plain monochrome lines.

As workaround I use "Print" instead of "Publish” on each layout provide the results I am looking for.

The problem with “Print” is that you are forced to export each layout individually and this slows the workflow, exposing yourself to errors and forgetfulness also. This happens with older CAD version and Map3D also.

Do you have any suggestion? Thank you very much.

PLOT settings are one thing.
Are your PAGESETUP settings 100% identical too? They may not be from just looking at your screenshots.

You should use one of those defined-as-you-want-it PAGESETUPs in your PUBLISH command so is performs the same way instead.

What do you mean exactly?

And, I forgot to mention that to achieve the results after "Plot" I have to untick "Plot object lineweights".
