Quick Save did not save changes

Hello everyone, I kept updating my autocad file and kept clicking quick save to save those changes. After being done, I clicked Save as only to find out it did not let me, instead I clicked quick save. Closed the file and reopen only to find out that all those changes did not save. Really do not understand how this could happened, and how could this be prevented. Did I do something wrong?

Does this happen with all files at different locations?

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I recall something similar happened when the network connection became unstable and then AutoCAD no longer can complete a save properly. What gives it away is when you attempt a Save As and AutoCAD refuse to let you complete that command.

There is not going to be a universal fix for an error in one file: something happened at that time of QSAVE or your file got replaced by a backup due to a glitch or someone else that had it open after you left it and they overwritten it.

You could try renaming BAK and SV$ versions of your file to see if there are newer versions to restore from.
