AnyWay Just a Quick Question, Is it Possible to Place Text Above an Arc

and Secondly, Is it Possible to Stretch or Contract a Line of Text in a Limited

Space Area.

Back in the Day there was a supplement program called Express for AutoCad14 which allowed

You to Preform those functions, is there one for AutoCad2013?

Yes, Command ARCTEXT(expresstools)

Is it Possible to Stretch or Contract a Line of Text in a Limited Space Area?

Yes, Use MTEXT to make the text multiline, or Adjust the Height/Widthfactor of the text

Expresstools are still available in Autocad. Just not available in LT versions.

The expresstools also contains a great text to mtext conversion utility.

Great to get text objects in older drawings to be a bit more tweakable, greater flexibility of symbols, bullet points etc.

Yes indeed , a very useful utility.

Available in LT too from 2017sp1 onwards

Totally agree with you.But since the second query from the original post was not clear for me, I couldn't guide him to a tool. Let's see if this was what he was looking for.

There is high chance that the express tools are not loaded into his Autocad, or he is using a LT Version.

I am trying to remember when the express tools were installed as standard.

I thought in 2013 that they were, in the past (pre 2008?) they had be installed as a custom install.  Maybe someone uninstalled them?

For the benefit of the OP:

If Express tools are missing;

Try typing in "Expresstools"

If that doesn't work go to control panel, select AutoCAD, choose change, add/modify features and tick express tools. The appropriate functions should then install and be available. Assuming you have rights and the 'full' AutoCAD of course! 🙂

Thanks for your quick response, but I'm SorryI don't know the Command/Text: TXT2MTXT.I've never seen it before.

There have been a few Expresstools commands that have transitioned into AutoCAD over the years. TXT2MTXT is one. M2P is another that comes to mind (okay not a tool, but still useful).

To help you, we need to know what type of AutoCAD are you running, is it AutoCAD LT 2013 or the full AutoCAD 2013?

If the latter, do you have an Express Tools tab on your ribbon menu?

If you are running AutoCAD LT 2013 then the various tools mentioned are not available to you.

Thanks for your quick response.Your instructions were spot on and Iwas able to install the Express Tool Feature.It will be great to have program, it makes drawingjust a little bit better
