Questions about registration

My full version trial that I have been using runs out in twelve days, and I am wondering about the activation it is asking me to do. Is this signing up to pay for use of it? And when I did try to activate it, it gives me an activation number/code, but it is two sections short of the full set needed to activate it (I.E. it gives me 14 sections, but 16 are needed.

Signing up to pay, correct: the code comes from an email after you payment is processed.

16 digets are not always needed. just copy and paste the one they sent you
