Publish error Internal error null pointer

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,  When publishing a set of 5 sheets to .pdf, AutoCAD 2017 publishes the first 2, and then I get an error for the remaining three sheets.  The error states "ERROR: Internal Error: Null Pointer"

A quick Google search indicates that there would be an issue with the .dwg to .pdf plotter; and to replace the file in the plotter manager.  However, this answer is based on CAD 2010, and the .dwg to .pdf file was just downloaded with the 2017 exe file.  Moreover, it does not make sense that 2 out of 5 sheets can be converted to a .pdf file.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!  It is not too much of an issue to plot each sheet separately since this project set is only 5 pages, but it will be a problem for larger files.

depends on what you are using for pagesetups in PUBLISH: it's clear you are not using one but many. The error message usually means one of your pagesetups being used is referencing a migrated older PC3 file.

"Adobe PDF" is not an OOTB option, that came from somewhere and is the culprit.

Thanks! I did have different printer settings... now everything has been normalized between the print set-ups and the full set plots according to the "publish" command. However, it is making each page into an individual .pdf, rather than one .pdf with multiple pages. There must be a setting I am missing?

A multi-page PDF (one pdf file, many pages) is only an option when you select the PUBLISH TO PDF choice and not PLOTTER NAMED IN PAGE SETUP in PUBLISH command's pop-up.
