Problems with saving

Recently I have started having issues with my drawings saving properly. I work off files that are saved in the company's mainshare drive. I open my project files from that location and when I click save it "for the most part," saves to that location. But for the second time now, when I go to open my last worked on drawing file, the last saved file location is my C:\DRAWINGS local to my computer. I'm just trying to figure out why this is happening? If its a network connectivity issue, or something else. I have not used the save as option for these files either.

My automatic save file location is in a completely different location, the temp (sv$) files are also not being saved up to date either.

If you navigate to the saved file on the newtwork is it saving it there as well? I could just be an issue with the recent files list.

It does save there, but it's not up-to-date. For instance this morning the last file saved on the network was from yesterday at 11:30am, but the actual file was last saved on my local C drive at 5:05pm. It also said that the file on the C drive was created at 1:53pm yesterday. I can say with absolute certainty that I did not click "save as" to my C drive either.

So what changed recently? Something did.
Your AutoCAD year version and variant is...?
Your WIndows OS is...?
YOur saved file location is...? If hardware, what is that OS?

Is ISAVEPERCENT variable set to zero? It needs to be IMHO, that might fix your time stamp difference assuming no other system level issues are going on.

SAVETIME needs to be set to 10 (or higher) and you probably should be ignoring it for the most part unless your system is crashing since those files are designed to go away when nothing crashes.

So what changed recently? Something did. To my knowledge, nothing has changed recently.
Your AutoCAD year version and variant is...? AutoCAD 2018 - HydraCAD V55
Your WIndows OS is...? Windows 10 Pro 2018
YOur saved file location is...? If hardware, what is that OS? The saved file location is supposed to be the company's main share drive.

Is ISAVEPERCENT variable set to zero? It needs to be IMHO, that might fix your time stamp difference assuming no other system level issues are going on. - This was set to 50,  I'll try setting it to 0 and see if that helps, thank you.

SAVETIME needs to be set to 10 (or higher) and you probably should be ignoring it for the most part unless your system is crashing since those files are designed to go away when nothing crashes. - It is set to 10 min
