This seems to be a common issue lately.

enter GFXDX12 in the commandline then set to zero. close ACAD and open again

These are basic checks for any performance issues, please try one after another and verify if this helps.

- Downgrade to DirectX 11 from DirectX 12 (set the variable GFXDX12 to "0").
- Check the mouse polling rate; it should be around 130 Hz.
- Ensure all monitors connected to the computer have the same resolution and display scale.
- If using a docking station, bypass it and connect the HDMI cable directly to the laptop.

- Install the latest updates for AutoCAD and the operating system.
- Update the graphics driver and ensure hardware acceleration is turned off if necessary.
- Reinstall Visual C++ and .NET Framework.
- Perform a clean reinstall of AutoCAD if the problem persists.

- Use the command `Purge` and `Audit` to clear unwanted layers, blocks, and errors.
- Copy the entire drawing using "Copy with Base Point" and paste it into a new drawing file.
- Ensure the drawing content is close to the origin point (0,0) and use Xrefs for high-coordinate drawings.

- Repair the drawing file using tools like `Purge`, `Audit`, and `Recover`.
- Check for OLE objects and isolate them or place them on a thawed layer.
- Use True Type fonts like Arial or Calibri and avoid bold or italics with SHX fonts.

- Verify system requirements for AutoCAD and ensure all updates are installed.
- Increase available memory (RAM) and page file space.
- Update to the latest certified video driver and ensure DirectX is up-to-date.
