Problems opening a dxf file

Hi everyone!

I'm having trouble opening a dxf file.

I cannot attach it here cause it gives an error so I uploaded it in wetransfer:

https://we.tl/t-aqEwGwEYHW

I have to work on it in Autocad but when I open it I see nothing but the plank paper (in both model and layout). Anyway I was able to open it in Illustrator but doing so I lose the layers.

Anybody can help?

Thank you 🙂

So you have a problem inside the file, it isn't a problem to open the file?

Use ZOOM

Object

LAST

Hi! I tried but it doesn't work, in autocad it looks like the file is empty 😞

Try it again. It should work.

Start your program (AutoCAD?)

Use command OPEN or RECOVER

change the extension to DXF and select your file.

Now the file is open and the current space is MODEL.

Command: ZOOM EX

I opened your DXF, in modelspace all I did was Zoom>Extents and got this below. What are you doing that you cannot find anything?

I tried exactly what you did but nothing happens, this is what I see after executing those commands:Cattura1.JPG

I'm using Autocad 2021, maybe is it a settings problem? Sorry but I'm not very expert with these tools 😞

This screenshot is from another file (we can not check a file we do not have..),

the UCS is another one and it is possible the the situation is totally differently.

WE can't know it.

Please use the same file like us, open your 1.dxf, not another one.

I tested your 1.DXF (ZOOM E) with 2021.1, newest **** of autodesk labor 😉

Oh yeah, actually the file "1" was just a copy of "altimetrie". I don't know what happened but since I opened the file you guys posted me the other files also work using "zoom" and "extent", so the problem is solved. Maybe it changed some settings idk. Thank you everybody!!!
