Hello I have a struggle this morning, a drawing was set to draw at an angle of 30d and I can't put it back to draw do default ortho 90d. This is the image

I am searching in the UCS options to find the right one but didn't find the solution yet.  Looked at a few procedures from the WWW and here without success..

It can be possible you have to set "ucsfollow" to 1 and then type ucs, enter, w.

Hi,

to get back for the World ucs and as mentioned use UCS ( world ) command then PLAN ( then enter ) command to make sure that your drawing in proper orientation .

Ok yeah UCS world will correct the angle and restore the Otrho to default position. I had to use SNAPANG 180 degrees also, world will not restore the crosshair rotation.. strange.

Seems OK now, if not Ill come back here

thanks (;

If world will not rotate the crosshair rotation try to set ucsfollow to 1 first and then try again.

UCSFOLLOW ok in a certain sequence used with UCS it will correct the crosshair at the same time has UCS WORLD. But not always working.. i don't have time to fully understand it right now but it's in my "how to".txt

Thanks for your help.

Yes, having the Coordinate System set to World does not  eliminate the possibility of, nor reset, a SNAPANG setting.  SNAPANG = 0 [the new-drawing default] should work, too, and I expect would be preferable for avoiding potential confusions/problems with angular directions.

Thank you, this was the answer to change the SNAPANG to 180

I have this issue sometimes where I will change the UCS to world, PLAN enter enter and my cursor stays rotated to the previous UCS and SNAPANG is reading "0".

To solve, I rotate the UCS to world, PLAN enter enter, then reset ANGBASE to "0", then type in SNAPANG, which will now read the angle of the previous UCS, and reset that to zero.

ANGBASE ended up being my problem. Thanks for the solution Mike!
