Problem with hatch command.

I am trying to reselect hatch remove the vertices that I dont need. I can not remove the hatch that is marked in red, see image.

 

I am using Autocad 2021.

Just erase and rehatch it, this time close up the big gap you have that makes the door look like it's part of the wall, and make sure the wall is is a closed area. Try it now, ask your teacher for some guidance about what doors in walls look like too.

Hi,

 

The hatch is associative. And when its associative you won't be able to remove vertex. Even if you try to remove the vertex you would be removing the vertex from the original boundary of the hatch and not the hatch.

Try to remove the associativity of the hatch and then delete the hatch. Now try to re hatch the object as shown in the screencast.

Select the hatch and in the Properties palette change "Associative" to No. Now you can select the hatch and remove any vertices. This saves from having to delete and rehatch.
