PROBLEM WITH AUTOCAD 2026

I HAVE THE FOLLOWING PROBLEM FOR AUTOCAD 2026

 

Device Name DESKTOP-CIM4GBK

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-14700K (3.40 GHz)

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)

 

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (8 GB)

DRIVER

596.36-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-nsd-dch-whql

 

Storage 579 GB of 2.73 TB used

Device ID C5ADABAE-1280-4E88-BDCB-D322B9CAC896

Product ID 00330-73745-00003-AAOEM

System Type 64-bit Operating System, x64 technology processor

 

THE PROBLEM

AUTOCAD FREEZES IMMEDIATELY AFTER OPENING ….

HARDWARE ACCELARATOR OFF

Hi,

Try the solution from this Autodesk Support link >> Click <<

1. Ensure that AutoCAD is completely closed before proceeding.
2. Navigate to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 202x, and open the folder corresponding to the AutoCAD version installed on your system.
3. Locate the file AdDownloaderCore.dll and rename it to AdDownloaderCore_backup.dll.

 

There have been many recent cases that followed this solution and achieved successful results. I hope you will be one of them.

Was the issue resolved by following steps: 

 1.Ensure that AutoCAD is completely closed before proceeding.
2. Navigate to the following directory: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 202x, and open the folder corresponding to the AutoCAD version installed on your system.
3. Locate the file AdDownloaderCore.dll and rename it to AdDownloaderCore_backup.dll.
