printing to the wrong printer

trying to set up my KIP 7100 and autocad.  I have used the HIF driver from Kip which is the autocad driver from Kip.  Kip printer prints correctly when doing a test page from the system printer. Once I set up my PC3 file, in autocad, the prints go to a totally different printer in the office.  I have checked the IP address within the pc3 file, and everything is pointed  to the correct place.  This is driving me crazy. I would be interested if anyone has seen this before, and if so, how do you fix it?  Any help will be greatly apprecaited.

HIF file replacing another perhaps (or actually not replacing the old one you already have)? Your are not plotting to the system driver in AutoCAD per your test outside of the program after all, so you are comparing apples to bananas 🙂
