Printing on multiple A3 sheets

I am using Autocad 2016.

I have a drawing of a benchtop that is an odd shape. Size around 1000mm x 600mm.

How do print it full size (1:1) on my A3 printer as multiple sheets so I can join them together to use it as a cutting template ?

I am totally new to Autocad so please be gentle.

You will need to do that manually, there is nothing automatic about it in AutoCAD.

Draw rectangles that match the papersize the PLOT>Window, or create many layouts one for each area that will fit on that papersize, the PUBLISH or PLOT as you wish.

You'll have to print your benchtop in parts as suggested previously.

You can use window in the plot preview dialog box. Set up specific boundaries in your model space and print your object to the scale you need it to be.

To add you could also look to this blog for different suggestions on setting up layouts and viewports for plotting.
