Printing layout that has been separated to two files to same scale

I have a floorplan with some production zones to place within the floorplan. I first included the floorplan and its rectangles to place in the same model space. But not I would like to print the floor plan on a sheet of paper, and the rectangular zones on another paper. So I copy pasted them in their own model space and tried printing them using the same scale, but one came out significantly bigger than the other when printed. What am I doing wrong? When choosing the plot area, I've been using the "Window" feature since its the only one that seems to work to maximize the size of the model on the sheet of paper.

I am wondering if the problem happens when I copy/paste parts of the file to a new one. (scaling issue?)

This is the plan that would be printed on 2 sheets. Left side is floorplan and the right side are the zones

I'm not sure I understand why that needed to be two separate DWG files: seems you are you just asking for help on how to use one layout for each side in the same DWG file. Is that not correct?

Yes, but I'm not quite sure how to do this while keeping them to scale when printing
