Print a pdf with a layer turned off

I need to plot a pdf where in the default state all the layers are turned on except one which has to be present but turned off like in the photos below (Layer "Segni di revisione"). How can I do? I've found only a way to do this using Adobe Acrobat Pro (adob acrobat pdf layers) but I don't have it...

Could someone help me?

Thanks in advance

Turn off the plot for the layer which you don't want to plot from the layer property manager as shown in the below snapshot.

layer.JPGThen that particular layer will not be published in your pdf. To turn off the plot of particular layer click on the symbol which is highlighted with black color in the above snapshot in the layer property manager.

Thank you vinodkl but in that way the layer doesn't exist in the pdf.

I want the layer to be present in the pdf but switched off by default in order to turn it on only if needed.

In that case Adobe acrobat reader is the only way. You could also download the foxit reader and do the same.

here is the link for the foxit reader download: https://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/
