Pre-defined layouts for SSM

Is it a bad practice to insert named views on layouts so that when I attach a layout to a sheet set that it is ready to print? In addition, if I have my view labels in there will they auto-populate or do I need to add them individually? @Anonymous

Predefined Layouts come from your own created Template DWT file that you take the time to create ahead of time to use in project files.

And named views to create viewports in layouts is what 50% of us do all day long and for a long time.

Auto-populating labels only happen if you plan for them in advance: but these can reside in your predefined template file layouts if needed.

So... how far along are you in creating all of these pre-requisites for your project?

I have gotten a good bit done in my .dwt. Last week I took the time to set up my named views and blocks for view labels to come in automatically with SSM. Over the weekend I Was thinking about finding out if I could bring it one step closer and I thought about this because I can name my layouts for it to be easier for our team.
