Possible lisp command/ general question

Is there a lisp command or any other way to trace a line by holding down the left mouse button.

In essence, it would be like the lasso selector, but would draw the outline of the lasso instead of selecting what was inside it.

Not sure what you are trying to do.

But if you want to "trace" over an existing entity, you can use the old TRACE command.

YOu may have to "Redefine" the command.  (type: redefine <ENTER> type in trace.

Now you can type trace to start the tracing.

Pick one spot (You won'nt see the first line then go to your second point and so on

You can set the witdht of the trace line

Hope this helps

Ron

This is exactly what I was looking for.

I just need some quick approximations on watersheds, and this does the trick very nicely.
