Polylines to 3Dmesh or 3Dsolid

Hi!

I'm working with dam/dike and I want to make a 3D model of that. I have UAV pointcloud data/3Dmesh and old 2D cross sections from the dike. UAV textured 3Dmesh will be the top ground level of the 3Dmodel and under that I want to add more levels from cross section underground levels example: soil, gravel, moraine etc..  So I have been working using 3Dpolys and join them together and using extrude but its making a "walls" instead I want to make a "roof/plane" of each underground level with different thicknesses and fill it to solid 3D. I'm using ACAD 2021.

Trying to extrude:

Hi,

your drawing contain Civil 3D proxies, are you using Civil 3D? Because then you can create 3D-Solids from Civil3D-surfaces!

Hi Alfred,

Yes, I have Civil 3D 2021 also, but I have been jumping with these two programs and cannot find solution or maybe I don't really understand how it works.

Hi,

you can create Civil 3D surfaces for each of your meshes/polyline

Then use command _AECCEXPORTSURFACETOSOLID to create a 3D-Solid for each of them and at least command _SUBTRACT to subtract each surface from the other ones (if my understanding of your needs is correct).
