How do I turn off the current vertex X snap marker? If I want to change the Y axis of the whole polyline it autosnaps the current vertex selected to the closest object. I am using AutoCAD 2017. I tried turning off snaps, autosnaps etc. I used to be able to turn off and on in 2015, but don't recall how I accomplished this great task ๐ Thanks for your help!

I cannot change in PE properties Vertex Y? I have to be accurate and this has been the quickest way...
I used to be able to shut off the X snap...
You can change X/Y Position for one vertex by properties palette.
(If you click on vertex, hopefully it is the right word for the english version. Then the "X" shows the current vertex).
You can change one ore more vertex by using STRETCH command
or
the whole object by command MOVE.

And why not move/stretch and GRIP work?
I think i don't understood the point.
If you have time, please show my what you need.
1 pline before, and an edited copy of this pline,
so i can see what you edited?!
