polyline screened back during arc command

why is my line screened back during arc command?  it's only happening in one file.

I would try to repair your drawing it seems to be corrupted, please review "How to repair corrupt AutoCAD files".

Hi,

I would use copy & paste the geometry from your current drawing/modelspace to a new dwg-file and continue there.

Start a new file, copy/paste this into the new one: anything change?

Have you tried copying your geometry to a new empty .dwg?  It may solve your issue.

the issue happens during the command, using arc or circle (not what else)

for example, when creating a circle and pulling the radius out, the line should not be screened back but for some reason it is in this file...

That's why I suggested to copy and paste into a new dwg-file as this should solve the issue.
