polyline is a double line not a single thickness line HELP

everytime i go to use the polyline, the line draws two lines (like a wall) instead of one single line.

i can find no where to change this except when i view the lines settings, the 'start segment width' and 'end segment width' are large numbers, which if i change to zero, stop the double lines.

but this does not save, when i draw the polyline again, double lines appear!!! ahhhhhh please help me!!!

FILLMODE sysvar. possibly REGEN after the change.

It looks like your visual style is something other than 2DWireframe.  Use VSCURRENT command and set it to 2D Wireframe and it will appear how you want after a regenall. Or you aren't in plan view, use PLAN command to switch to plan view.

Self-Inflicted problem:

Plines are 2D, your SHADEMODE settings needs to be set to 2D to see a Pline fill instead of hollow (aka two lines look).

1. Start pline command and the click first point

2. Select width option and set start and endwidth to 0

Draw the pline and the next one should start with width 0

Your 2nd picture tell us that your View plane is not parallel to ucs xy plane.

PLAN current would displaying pline with widt/=0 filled

seperately - my pline lines are not snapping to each other, do you know how they can connect or snap at their ends when i come to join them up please? @:)

@William.BarberUF7DW Are you using the ENDPOINT osnap to "snap to each other"? While in a command of course.

Show us a video of how it is not working for you when you get a chance.

Is your F3 activated?

I can't explain the Osnapping not working, since your image of Osnap settings shows that it should be working.  But in the situation in the video, you should be using the Close option in the PLINE command, not just Osnapping back to the start point.
