Polar tracking snap distance wrong depending on dimension direction

I have what I believe is a strange issue that I can't figure out for the life of me.

I have polar snaps set to 10 units for the purpose of my dimensions being evenly spaced.

Depending on the direction I start my dimensions it snaps as 6,16,26,36.... or 10,20,30,40....

I am not sure why it sometimes starts with "6", then continues with 10 snaps after the first snap. It seems random at this point and "6" doesn't seem to relate to anything.

Are you perhaps confusing POLAR TRACKING with SNAP settings? Your pop-up is POLAR, you appear to be asking about SNAP

Sorry I think I am incorrectly using the term "snap"

The polar "spacing" starts at "10" in some directions and "6" in other directions but always spaces in increments of 10 after the first increment.
So in my video when it goes 10,20,30.... that is correct and expected behavior with polar spacing the 6,16,26... isn't.

Actually with some more testing it also randomly used "4" to start on a different layout in some directions.

It uses "10" as its first increment correctly about 80% of the time.

ive been unable to duplicate your issue.

Most of the times i see something like this there is an issue with unexpected geometry in the Z direction or really far distances from the origin. That said this seems a little to consistent to be those.

I would verify that there arent competing snaps. Meaning there isnt a snap for both 6 and 10 happening at different times. To isolate the individual snaps you can change the Alignment Point Acquisition to "Shift to acquire" and that will allow you to press the sift key to cycle through the snap being engaged. In other words once you engaged the snap, press the shift key and see if there is both a 6 and a 10 being engaged which are competing

Verifying wheter or not there are competing snaps will hopefully help identify the issue.

Shift to acquire had the same issue.

I did some more experimenting, it seems like the initial "6" snap was due to the consistent size of what I was drafting. It appears to be random and based on something not showing. It also only seems to happen with endpoint snaps, midpoints work as expected.

I attached another video showing this behavior with fresh random lines in a blank drawing.

What versions are you using and are you using one of the toolsets like Mechanical?

Still unresolved, at this point I believe it's a bug and I'm hoping an update corrects it
