Hello! The green colored point cursor(the small one) disappeared from my autocad2024, cannot see where my points land now, even though i have snap settings as endpoint, midpoint , nearest turned on. Cannot properly work anymore since everything i draw appears in a wrong position. Please, could does anyone know how to fix this?

Did this suddenly happen? What was it that triggered this? Have you tried restarting your computer?

what is your OSMODE? did you try F3? you can turn your object snap on/off without disabling the snaps themselves.

In the drawing aid bar you should be able to see if the object snaps are on (highlighted) or not. It does not matter if the snaps themselves are marked v. The button itself, is it blue or not?

Maybe your setting of the APERTURE System Variable [the size of the Object Snap "target" box] is too small.  The default value is 10.

[By the way, don't include NEArest among running Object Snap modes.  It will almost always "win out" over other modes, so you will never be able to Osnap to a MIDpoint unless the cursor happens to be precisely there when you pick, or unless you use Tab to cycle through the available modes for every point you pick.  Leave it out of the mix, and when that's really what you need, call for it explicitly.]

RE nearest snap, I haven't found that nearest always wins.  Moving along any element will toggle the snap. For example, for lines, mid, end, and near snap indicators show as the cursor moves.  For circles, near, quadrant and center toggles show. Not just tab selection works.
