Plotting several layouts while saving paper from the plotter roll

I'm trying to plot several A2 format layouts with our plotter, which has a 36 in roll, while trying to save as much paper as possible. Is there a way to tile several layouts to fit the width of the roll and plot them? As well as I tried to fit several A3 formats to the width of the roll?

I don't think it is possible to do that directly from AutoCAD but if you plot PDFs, you can probably do it with those.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Look in the owners manual for your plotter for 'Nest', not all of them have that option.

Hi @Anonymous,

There is nothing in AutoCAD that tiles prints on a sheet. If your print driver allows nesting or tiling you might able to select that option in the driver. Another alternative is to create one layout in a new drawing that combines all your other layouts  into it. I have done this using xrefs before and it works quite well.
