plotting problems

The scale in plot does not make sense, the only scale that fits the paper is 1:1, which would be impossible considering my plans are over 50 feet. If I choose a smalller scale like 1/4" = 1' then it is tiny. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Sorry I don't know your drafting skill level.

I noticed that your viewport size is 0'-10 7/16" x 0'-8". To fit the plan to this viewport the scale has to be set to smaller than 1:1.

In your case it would be better if you set the scale to 1/8" = 1'-0".

BTW What size of the paper you wish to plot? If it can be a larger size you can strech the viewport to suit.

I am not familiar with imperial units so don't know if the scale factor of 1/8" = 1'-0" is proper.

You want to print a 53foot x 47foot house plan on 11x17 and you want 1:1 scale?
1/8" fits fine (Layout2), 1/4: is too big (Layout1) for 11x167, try a larger sheet size (Layout3).
