Ploting more than 1 plot

I recently installed 2017. When I open a 2007 DWG file it plots 4 times when set to default 1. I tried changing plot quantity to 2 and got 8 plots. I changed it to 0 quantity and got 4 plots. I created a new drawing, it plots correct quantity. Is threre a system variable that may be set wrong?

A system variable would affect all drawings, existing and new..

Does this happen with all existing drawings?

Does this happen on all printers?

If this only affects one drawing, you could try doing a drawing recover, purge, and audit on it. If that fails, I would rebuild the file.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

What if you save the drawing as a 2013 file version then try plotting?

Did you migrate and are using a PC3 file?
Plotting to what?
