When scaling the viewport in the layout to any scale, such as 1000/50xp, the dimensions don't match what they're supposed to; they vary by approximately 1 centimeter. My configuration is correct, but when I check the PDF, the measurements aren't correct. The print configuration is also correct. The problem is in AutoCAD.

As you can see, the scaling is generally fine, but if you check the measurements in the PDF or printout, the measurements are not correct or exact.

But the dwg you posted does not have a layout that matches with your pdf.

This is what it shows now and there is no scale to the vport on the layout.

Did you create the pdf using a different dwg?

Sorry, upload an incorrect PDF file. The following is the correct one, and as I said, the viewport does not scale well, so the measurements are not correct in the pdf. and the viewport does have a scale, in the custom scale option of the viewport properties the result of using 1000/50 xp is shown, which is 20

Hi,

The viewport rectangle size is too big !! You need to reduce the size and use the same unit distances for your model CAD elements ( A4=29.7,21 ).

Try to do it and check if any changes?

You again did not give me the exact DWG you used to produce your PDF.

The PDF you posted looks like this:

paullimapa_0-1742066877480.png

I can see there's a 7 horizontal dimension on top & there's space between the bottom horizontal line and the vport.

But your DWG you posted looks like this:

paullimapa_1-1742066936908.png

Regardless, I opened your PDF using Acrobat & performed the Measuring Tool to confirm that the 7M measurement is still accurate:

For the sake of argument I then opened your DWG & made the following changes:

I adjusted the view inside the Vport so that it looks more like your PDF.

I locked the Vport Display.

I added the horizontal 7M dimension up top.

I also added a 1:50 graphic scale that shows in AutoCAD the drawing shown inside the Vport does match the 7 Meter dimension.

All keeping the Vport Custom Scale at 20 just as you had it.

I then created the PDF by using the same PLOT window you shared in a prior post:

paullimapa_4-1742067334657.png

This is how the PDF looks like:

paullimapa_5-1742067371810.png

I then again opened the PDF in Acrobat & used the Measurement Tool to confirm that the 7M dimension is still correct:

Attached is the revised DWG & PDF I created.

If you're checking the measurements on the PDF by putting a physical scale on a print out and it's not accurate then your printer calibration is off.

There's nothing wrong with the PDF from AutoCAD.

Thanks then it's probably an error in the printer calibration
