Picking / Selecting object in autocad getting very slow.

Hi,

While i picking / selecting the object in autocad 2015, it will getting very slow.

Kindly provide solution for this issues.

First I would make sure that you have installed the latest service pack.

Then I would ask:

• is that a new situation or a new installation of AutoCAD 2015, if it worked well previously what changed on the system
• does the same happen in a new file
• does the same happen if you close the property window (and disable quick-properties if you have them active)

Hi,

Turn OFF GRAPHICSCONFIG

Change program settings speed up Auto cad  click here

Set the AutoCAD system variable WHIPTHREAD to 3.

Set the AutoCAD system variable LAYOUTREGENCTL to 2.

Set the AutoCAD system variable SELECTIONPREVIEW to 2.

Set the AutoCAD system variable SELECTIONCYCLING to 0.

Set the AutoCAD system variable OSOPTIONS to 6.

Set the AutoCAD system variable SAVEFIDELITY to 0.

Turn off "Full-time CRC Validation" in Options under the Open and Save tab.

Turn off hardware acceleration (GRAPHCISCONFIG command).

Close the Properties palette (CTRL+1).

Set your system's virtual memory to maximum.

Change your Visual Effects to "Adjust for Best Performance."

Reduce the value of the AutoCAD system variable HPMAXLINES.

I just tried changing these setting and it made to slow response even worse.
