PDF SHX Text Issue

I am using AutoCAD 2019 (64 bit) and have imported a PDF drawing. My goal is to convert the pdf drawing text rather than retyping all the text. After importing a PDF drawing, the PDFSHXTEXT command does not recognize the text.  I have added in all SHX fonts for comparison.

Thanks for emailing me the file. Since this is a "handdrawn" looking font with double stokes it is tricky.  I don't have many such SHX fonts but I did have some success with this one that I have attached.  I think you will have to do some searching on the Internet to find a font that looks more like the linework from the PDF.  If this is a task you envision repeating frequently, then the searching might be worth it. Otherwise, it might just be easier to recreate the text manually.

Hi John,

My issues is; when after I import drawing in pdf format, it changes text from pdf into hatch. How SHX font can help here? Any coding is required or some logic, if you can share pls. I am using AutoCAD 2018. I tried lowering Recognition threshold, but that also didn't help here. Please suggest. reference file is attached for your reference.

Looks like the text in the PDF is not a real text anymore, just contours and fills.

Can you upload the PDF so we can look into that too?
