Pdf Import is not bringing in all objects

I have a building section in PDF form.

I attempt to use the PDF import function in AutoCAD 2020.

Almost none of the objects within the PDF are imported into AutoCAD.

What can I do/ change to import the PDF?

Hi @Anonymous,

I can't tell for certain from the image, but it looks like there may be some Raster content in the PDF.  Try checking the Raster option in the PDF import to see if that helps.

RASTER elements in a PDF are never converted: only VECTOR elements. Check it yourself with this box

From what I understand that brings it in as a bitmap image.

My end goal is to use AutoCAD to work with the PDF as if it were an AutoCAD dwg

and not just have an image of the building section.

The image I attached was another building section that I imported (not as a raster image)

and I was able to edit within AutoCAD.

depending on how the pdf file was built initially, you may not be able to realize all entities becoming workable graphics within the cad file it's underlayed.

Post your problem PDF file please: glad to see a different PDF worked, but that means nothing except your AutoCAD is working like ours with the correct PDF type.
