I inserted a PDF image on my ACAD LT drawing, then send it to a colleague (both the CAD file and the PDF file). When he opens the CAD file, the PDF does not appear on the drawing.
How do I fix this problem?
Thank you.
Chris

Hello @cb94030
Corrupt AutoCAD files, use Commend EXPORTTOAUTOCAD & insert PDF file, save to same folder location.
Two days before, my friend also have same issue.

Hi,
i suggest to try :
Imad Habash
Have them drop both files in the same exact folder, restart their AutoCAD, and try again.
AND make sure they (and you) did not rename the PDF at all.
- I have ACAD LT 2018.
- I sent my friend, both the PDF and CAD files to be placed in the same folder.
- Even though I "Imported" the PDF file into the CAD drawing, the "External Reference" window shows the PDF file as a PNG image (?).
- I've done this with different files so it is not a case of a corrupted CAD file.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

When you say 'I Imported the PDF file....' it's vague and could mean several different procedures. Have you tried using the good ol' ATTACH command? You can access that command to attach your PDF (use Attach as opposed to Import) from the External References palette.

I appreciate your help!!
