PDF Content - Edit Text

I purchased an AutoCAD Template from 30x40 Design Workshop, and have gotten all my items that I want in AutoCAD (layers, block, titleblock, etc), however, when I print (either a batch plot or individual), something weird is happening in Bluebeam Revu.  When I open up Bluebeam and try to edit the text. I do the following: "Edit, PDF Content, Edit Text", it brings my entire file to, esentially, a JPEG where I can't click or edit anything and it becomes a very light grey color, including my stamp/signature.  I wouldn't imagine something from an architect's CAD template that he sells causes this, but could it be?

Has anyone encountered something like this in the past or have any solutions? I am unsure if it is an AutoCAD or Bluebeam item.

I attached the PDF of an example (removed some items, stamp, name, location, etc.), but this is what AutoCAD is giving me.

make sure you're using TrueType fonts & not AutoCAD shx shape font files to generate all your Text:

So nothing you use is AutoCAD-based, not sure anyone can help here other than general guidance. You need to be contacting BlueBeam plus the Template creator for guidance.

In the meantime...

Your PDF has no saved fonts in it: looks like all are SHX fonts. Are you aware SHX fonts are not editable in PDFs? It's been like that for 40+years now. You can fake it in AutoCAD by turning on the PDFSHX variable to make them at least searchable.

OR... you could just change your SHX fonts to TTF (Windows) fonts in your purchased template instead.

If you're still having issues... rule out the problems by not using BlueBeam to create the PDF in the first place, try one of the many PDF drivers bundled with AutoCAD.
