Parametercopymode not copying all parameters

I am trying to copy a parametric drawing into a new drawing.  Parametercopymode is set to 4.  When copying, I am selecting all before copying and pasting into the new drawing.  After pasting, the new drawing only has 30 parameters where the old one had 39.   This is AutoCad 2018 on Windows 10.  Thanks!

Thank you, unfortunately it did not help.  The constraints are not within dynamic blocks or anything like that, just in the main drawing.

Is parametercopymode set to 4 in the new drawing?

It is.  I have tried copying it into a different drawing template and everything was copied.  Still not sure why.  It still does not work on the other template.

Try PURGE and AUDIT on the drawing your copying into and then paste the parameters.

When I purged all with the purge nested items option checked it worked.  Thanks!

PARAMETERCOPYMODE isn't file depended.

One Question: Are all userdefined parameter "in use" ?

Or are all not copying are not in use?

I guess like other definitions (block, layer and so on),

Acad will copy only needed informations.

Sorry, that was true (the fact that just used parameters will copied), but it was not the problem in your case.
