Hello AutoCAD community,
I am having a strange issue which I have inherited from the former user. I am using AutoCAD 2017 and I am working for a developer using pre-existing layouts and settings and plotting to an HP 1050c plus printer. I am newer to CAD and still learning A LOT about it.
One issue I'm trying to resolve is when I plot a layout, paper space is measuring the paper size as 8'x12' which is wrong,
but the settings in page setup for paper size are 36"x24" which is correct.
I have my title block and viewports set to correct scales but this obviously makes them take up 24"x36" of the 8'x12' paperspace. So if I just try to print as is with those settings, it prints it small and not to scale in the lower left hand corner.
My work around has been to plot the window and specify the title block size and check the fit to paper box, but I would like to fix this issue so it automatically prints correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
