Paper Space Draw Order

Hi, 

I am using AutoCad 2019 and since installing it I have had issues in paper space with draw order. When I send objects to the front or back it appears to work but, once I switch layout tabs or go to model space the draw order reverts to the order objects were inserted into the drawing.

Ahh ok about the display order thing. I don't use the right click thing, but I was trying the way you did it to make sure my lisp routine was not somehow the problem.

This issue seems like it has been around for years so I will give the support ticket a try and I will try 2025 just in case it was just a 2024 thing.

Uh in another drawing it acts differently... It works the right way. (Scratching head) Odd...must be some setting in layout causing this? Now the drawing that was messed up is working fine. I give up. Time to drink 🙂

Of course it would, you replicated what I can do, so that other file is not related to this problem one, same underlying cause does not exist most likely. Without your DWG files and associated/referenced files, not sure anyone here can help.
