Paper and Model line scale (LTSCALE & PSLTSCALE not working)

I'm using AutoCAD 2022.

MSLTSCALE is set to "0"

PSLTSCALE is set to: "0"

To get the lines to show correctly the LTSCALE for the lines are set to 0.07

In paper space it's about 1/2 the size and I'm stumped

@DM2-fire,

If you want linetypes to appear similar in various paperspace viewports, shouldn't PSLTSCALE = 1?

I've tried setting the PSLTSCALE to "0" which should cause the line to be the same scale, however it isn't.

Attached is another drawing  where the lines are working how I want them to...I'm not sure what the difference is the 2 previous files, but this file does what I want the other file to do.

@DM2-fire,

I would welcome the feedback of others, but my experience has been that an LTSCALE value that works in modelspace  (MS) may not work in paperspace (PS). Often you must change the value when you are working in MS and then switch to the alternate value for working in PS.

For example, you may have LTSCALE = 2 in MS, then switch the value to 0.5 when in PS.

Maybe there is new workflow I am not aware of, but that is how I have used LTSCALE when working with MS/PS.

I also noticed that you are using linetype scale overrides on many of the objects. This may add complexity when calculating your LTSCALE values for MS/PS.

I recall a LISP utility a while back that would automatically switch the LTSCALE value when you switched between MS/PS.

Again, I welcome the feedback of others.

Regards,

Jerry

@DM2-fire,

See if this video, by Donnie Gladfelter (The CAD Geek) @thecadgeek13K, is helpful:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cX3aSXdjjdI

Here is the link to the utility that auto-switches LTSCALE if you don't want to use the solution that Donnie shows in the video above.

Let us know if this is helpful.

Regards,

Jerry
