OSNAP SETTINGS DISAPPEAR

Anonymous
Not applicable

I installed ACADC3D 2018 last week and it ran fine all week.  Yesterday morning, all of a sudden after drafting a curve, my OSNAP settings default back to 0's on everything.  I thought it was specific to drafting curves but it does it constantly now seemingly after every command.  I have restarted the program numerous times and have had no luck.  Please help this is driving me insane!

Set your osnaps the way you want them.
Open SYSVARMONITOR and add OSMODE variable to the watch list.

Next time it changes you will get an immediate alert: stop and find out which command triggered your osnaps turning off.

I tried this but my OSNAP quit again at one point and I never received a warning.

This is what the alert looks like, did you turn off balloon notifications by chance?

Close enough 🙂

What command where you in or just start? That's the culprit. Scroll back through your commandline history.

It happens after random commands now. Could be drafting lines by bearing, could be moving or copying text or linework. But that being said, I did notice this problem initially occur after drafting a curve from the end of an object. However, I have not used that command since yesterday morning and it's still happening constantly. My IT department is actually just re-installing it now hoping it was some sort of bad file or something but I still would like to know a fix for this, because knowing my luck, it will happen again.

Thanks!
