Opening and Saving Drawings

All of sudden, my AutoCAD 2021 program has started asking me to enter the name of the drawing I want to open and to enter the name of the drawing I want to save. Previously, it would let me browse to drawings. Using my AutoCAD 2020 program this does not happen. I would like to know how to fix this problem. Many thanks, John Sheffield

Read about the FILEDIA System Variable, which controls whether FILE DIAlog boxes are used.
